Ceiling collapses after water damage in an upstairs unit leaks to the lower unit.

Water intrusion can happen when you least expect it. This photo shows water damage to a ceiling caused by the unit above. The water came down and the weight forced the ceiling to collapse. As you can see, the ceiling was textured with popcorn texture. In many situations popcorn texture contains asbestos.
