SERVPRO of Central Honolulu Travels to Detroit to Aid Families in Storm Relief

On Thursday, June 24 heavy rains started pouring on the neighborhoods surrounding Detroit, Michigan. Over the weekend the area received over 7 inches of rain which flooded most of Wayne County.
Andy Maras, the owner operator of SERVPRO Central Honolulu, has accompanied his team to the mainland to help relieve the Detroit area while still managing a local team here on island to continue service to our neighbors on Oahu. Our team flew straight to San Antonio to pick up equipment from our last mainland trip to service during the Austin, TX winter storms of February 2021. After picking up a rental truck and driving across the country, we are now working to help residents get rid of the water and moisture as soon as possible.
In times of need, SERVPRO of Central Honolulu is ready to rise to the occasion. We are happy to help serve our neighbors on island on any day. We are also prepared to help neighborhoods in need of an extra hand after large storms.
